IDEA Standards Committee Registration

As a part of the electrical industry, you are invited to join the IDEA Standards Committee (ISC) and Subcommittees. The ISC's seven Subcommittees develop and maintain industry specific eBusiness standards and guidelines then submit them to the ISC governing body for final approval. Standards and guidelines approved by ISC are made available to the industry. View the IDEA Standards Presentation for more information. Volunteers can choose to serve on the ISC governing body and any of the Subcommittees in one of four member levels:

ISC Voting:	a volunteer that commits to serve and participate in at least 75% of the ISC’s activities.
Active:	a volunteer that commits to serve and participate in at least 75% of the Subcommittee’s activities.
Participating:	a volunteer who wishes to participate in committee(s) activities but is unable to make the commitment to serve in at least 75% of the activities. They are encouraged to participate but will have no voting rights on business at the ISC level (only have voting rights at the Subcommittee level).
Informed:	a volunteer who only wishes to receive communications on committee(s) completed activities as well as minutes from committee(s) meetings.
